I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a book conference in LA, hosted by SCBWI (the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators). I'm excited! I'll be meeting up with some other children's nonfiction writers and we will be discussing current directions and trends in nonfiction books today.
